Mr.Boyle-
Just read the story "Ike and Nina" which I thought was absolutely hilarious and was curious as to your inspiration for writing it.
Thank you

Dear Al Yonan: I was inspired by the spate of tell-all memoirs in those days (eighties). And also by Nabokov and Borges. The question is, what is history and whose version do we believe? In "Ike and Nina" we have the quintessential unreliable narrator, but he does make it all sound so plausible, no? TCB.

Mr. Boyle-
He makes it sound not only plausible, but historically accurate to the last detail which made it even more humourous. Thank you for your response.
